Like so many of you over at least the past two years, I ordered something from BestPrice, paid in advance, and then waited months for a delivery that never came. I eventually cancelled my order and was promised a refund. Since then, the owner (Hans Ulrich Möhl) has stated that the company is in liquidation / bankrupcy.
I even filed my case with the police, claiming fraud. I suggest you all do the same. A single complaint might not be enough, but if everyone who were tricked out of their money by Mr. Möhl file a case, we just might put this guy behind bars.
According to the current status on moneyhouse.ch, the company has in fact filed for bankrupcy:

I guess all you can do at this point is to file a claim for your money back. Here's where you can do this:

Meine Forderung an bestprice-audiovideo.ch:
Geld zurück

The company has filed for bankruptcy, and I have filed a claim to the corresponding "Betreibungsamt".
Final update: I spoke with the Betreibungsamt last week. It looks like the bankruptcy proceedings are completed, and Mr. Möhl has done an excellent job of channeling all funds and value out of the company, and (as so often is the case) he is not personally liable for any of the outstanding claims against his company. He probably took all of our money and spent it to renovate his house or buy a nice car of something. I still encourage everyone to do what I did and file a case with the police, but I guess at this point there's no hope for anyone to get their money back - at least not in a legal way. I still believe this is a crystal clear case of fraud, and don't understand the legal peculiarities that makes shit like this legal (beyond the defaulting of the company, and the trouble this asshole hopefully will have of ever starting another business). Compared to many of you my loss was relatively minor and easy enough to forget about. But the circumstances and the uselessness of the authorities / police will still continue to bug me for a little while.
